Thank you for visiting our online rental portal for the Immanuel School of Music. Please review all of the information below and click “Rent an Instrument” when you are ready to start the rental process (it’s easy, we promise).

ABOUT THE RENTAL PROGRAM

We rent only the highest quality student instrument because a quality instrument is crucial for maximizing a student’s potential. We also want to make instrument rental affordable and we work very hard to keep costs low and provide exceptional value.

PLEASE NOTE: You are renting from our shop and not from the Immanuel School of Music. Rental fees are separate from Immanuel Tuitions fees. If you have any questions or concerns about your instrument please contact us directly.

INSTRUMENT DELIVERY TO ISM CAMPUS

When completing the online rental you will have the option to have the instrument delivered to the ISM Boone, ISM Lakeside Park or Sacred Heart campus during the informational meetings. Those meetings are scheduled as follows:

All online rentals for delivery to an ISM Campus must be completed by Saturday 8/26/23, but instruments may be rented and picked up at Baroque Violin Shop after 8/26/2023 or at any of the in person meetings listed above. (Option 4 is for Sacred Heart families only)

RENTAL KITS AND PRICES

Each rental kit comes with an instrument, bow and case, plus a FREE starter package valued at over $50. This package includes: music stand, rosin, polish cloth, method book, music folder, shoulder rest for violin and viola, and end-pin stoppers for cello and bass. All of these items combined provide students everything they need to start learning.

RENTAL RATES:

Violin/Viola - $16/month or $160/year*
Cello - $35/month or $350/year*
Bass - $45/month of $450/year*

Maintenance and replacement of the rental kit is included in the rental fee, view rental agreement for details.

RENTAL INSTRUMENTS

For violins and violas we rent our Performance 300 series, which retail for $950 and $1350 respectively. For cellos and basses we rent our Academy 200 series, which retail for $1600 and $2800. By renting instruments of this caliber, we give students the opportunity to learn on high-quality, professionally set-up instruments at a fraction of the cost.

RENTAL PROGRAM FEATURES

FREE STARTER KIT WITH EVERY RENTAL

Included for free with every rental is a music stand, rosin, polish cloth, method book, music folder, shoulder rest for violin and viola, and end-pin stoppers for cello and bass, a savings of over $50.00.

FREE MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT COVERAGE

Also included for no extra charge is maintenance and replacement coverage. You are not responsible for any accidental damage that may happen to the instrument, bow or case. Broken strings are replaced at no additional cost. If repair is needed or an instrument is lost or stolen, Baroque Violin Shop will fix or replace it at no additional cost (Police report is required in the event of theft). When your rental requires servicing simply come into our shop during business hours or call us to arrange the quickest and most efficient means of repair or replacement. Misuse or intentional abuse is not covered. See rental agreement for full details.

EARN RENTAL CREDIT TOWARDS PURCHASE

The Baroque Violin Shop will apply 100% of your rental payments towards, up-to, 50% of the purchase price of any one full size violin, viola, cello, or bass sold from our shop. There is no limit to the amount you may accumulate and you start building equity from your first payment. All subsequent payments a customer makes towards rental fees accumulate as rental equity, with no limit to how long you can rent.

Example 1: You have paid $350.00 towards violin rental fees, and you decide to purchase our P.S. 300 Violin retailing for $950.00, your rental equity amount of $350 will be deducted from the purchase price, leaving a balance of $600 plus tax.

Example 2: You have paid $500.00 towards violin rental fees and you decide to purchase the same P.S. 300 Violin for $950.00, your rental equity of $500 is over the 50% threshold, $475 will be deducted from the purchase price, leaving a balance of $475 plus tax.

FLEXIBLE PAYMENT OPTIONS

MONTHLY
Payment due on a monthly basis. Your first payment will be a two month up front charge plus any applicable taxes and shipping fees. After 60 days your credit/debit card or bank account will then be charged every month for the following amounts plus applicable taxes.

YEARLY
Our standing discount for upfront annual payment offers twelve months of instrument rental for the price of ten. If you decide to terminate your rental agreement before the 12 months are up, you will be refunded for the remaining months. You will be billed a one time fee below plus applicable taxes.
